Hotel LeCirque Offers Two-Night Package in Conjunction with NOMA's Block-buster Exhibition "The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt"

New Orleans' trendy Arts & Warehouse District and Ancient Egypt are worlds apart, but starting this October and continuing through February, visitors will  be able to experience the best of both.

Hotel LeCirque, a boutique design hotel boasting art from Phillipe Starck, sculptor John Scott and photographer Herb Ritts, will offer a two-night package that includes two tickets to the New Orleans Museum of Art's exhibition "The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt."   The largest collection of objects ever to leave Egypt for a single North American exhibition, it features masterpieces from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the Luxor Museum, and other collections in Egypt, including several works that have not been on public display before and many that have never been shown outside Egypt.

In addition to tickets to the exhibition, the package includes two nights accommodation and parking; dinners at two of the French Quarter's hottest restaurants, Muriel's Jackson Square and Mr. B's; breakfast at world-famous Brennan's Restaurant, and tickets to either the National D-Day Museum or the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.

The package, based on availability, will be offered from October 19, 2003 to February 20, 2004.  Cost of the package per couple is $624 (Sunday through Thursday) and $774 (Friday and Saturday.)  For reservations, call (504) 962-0900.

Hotel LeCirque is a member of the New Orleans' Fine Hotels, a collection of nine three and four-star properties in the French Quarter, Arts & Warehouse District and the Central Business District.  For information on all the hotels, visit
